Pro Drift Gate RC Drift Car Automatic Starting System for 1/10 Scale RC Drift Cars Tandem Competition Use

Ready to take your Drift Track to the next level?  This Pro Drift Gate universal electronics only kit is designed to attach to an existing track bridge/start arch/gantry and includes an ARGB LED Light Bar as well as Two Range Sensors and a Main Control Module. 

How it works: upon first power up the system uses two independent range sensors to automatically read the distance to the ground under your start bridge (ideal distance 1-3 feet).  It then waits for a change and will illuminate one Blue LED on the left or right of the LED strip when a vehicle is present in either the left or right lanes.  If two vehicles are stationary you will see two Blue LED illuminated.  If both vehicles remain in the start position for more than 3 seconds the system automatically moves into a start animation.  The start animation shows the center LEDS flashing yellow and then going solid green.  The animation turns off as soon as both vehicles leave the start area and automatically resets waiting for the next pair of vehicles.

This keeps the work load down for track owners and increases the fun for drivers wishing to practice tandems or drift competitions.  If either driver "jumps the gun" the green LED light will not turn on indicating a re-start is necessary.

Power is supplied by the included 12v 2A wall adapter via a standard 2.5 barrel connector.  (system can also be powered by a 2s battery-you will need to make your own connector and utilize a generic 2.5 barrel connector)

Note: This system relies on ultrasonic distance sensors which operate in the 30hz spectrum.  Through testing we have found some high power warehouse lighting systems emit inaudible "noise" in this frequency range and will cause our system to malfunction.  Unfortunately this interference has been hit or miss depending on the specific warehouse/location and we are unable to advise you if our system will work in your specific warehouse application without testing the unit in the actual environment.  Some anti-rodent systems used in some warehouses also broadcast in this ultrasonic spectrum and could also cause compatibility issues.  If your specific environment is not compatible we will issue a refund for the price of the system minus shipping once the system is returned to us.  Signs of incompatibility: rapid flashing of the blue left and right lane indicator lights.

Sensors and Light Bar are designed to attach to round or flat bar via cable ties or double sided tape.  Sensor "barrels" must be pointed down towards the track and aimed at the starting lane for the left and right lanes.

Included: ARGB Light Bar and 2 Ultrasonic Range sensors on a 4+ foot harness attached to the Main Control Module.

Not included: Double sided tape, cable ties.
